SlateBlue Two Time and Azure were confirmed to be in a romantic relationship (a "friends-to-lovers" dynamic) before Two Time sacrificed Azure as part of their devotion to the Spawn Cult's beliefs, a tragic event that haunts them. They were inseparable partners, but Two Time's growing obsession with the cult's promise of rebirth led them to use the Ghostfire Dagger to kill Azure, believing it was for a greater purpose.
